Alex + Asher’s Intimate Backyard Wedding & Phase Three Brewing Reception

Alex and Asher were married on a warm October afternoon in a quiet backyard in Barrington, Illinois, surrounded by trees, laughter, and the kind of love that doesn’t need much decoration. Their day was intentionally laid-back, full of personal touches, playful details, and joy that flowed from beginning to end—starting in the forest, ending with tacos and video games, and featuring their pup as the world’s most charming flower girl.

The day began under bright skies and soft sun, but by the time we arrived at the forest preserve for portraits, a gentle cloud cover rolled in, muting the light in the most cinematic way.

From there, the celebration moved to Phase Three Brewing in Lake Zurich, where guests toasted the couple with local beer, played pinball, and danced in between bites of tacos and scoops of ice cream. Every part of their wedding felt like them: relaxed, real, and full of connection.
