Anastasia + Tyler’s Stan Mansion Fall Wedding

Anastasia and Tyler were married on a warm crisp day in late October at the iconic Stan Mansion in Chicago, Illinois—a venue built in 1923 that still echoes the elegance and drama of the Gilded Age - a perfect location for this couple who brought the energy of the theater with them.

Anastasia and Tyler both got ready on-site at the Stan Mansion, just steps away from one another. Anastasia spent the morning in the elegant bridal suite, where soft window light poured in, with a few unexpected rainbows that danced across the walls, adding a little magic to an already joyful morning. Tyler was just next door, close enough that they could’ve spoken through the wall if they wanted to, but they saved the moment for something a bit more special.

Instead, they chose to meet in the courtyard for their first look. A quiet breath before the excitement began, just for the two of them.

After the sweetest first-look moment, we moved onto portraits, starting right there in the courtyard, where the energy still lingered from their first look. From there, we took a short walk to the green space along Kedzie Boulevard. The trees were finally shifting, autumn golds and soft rust tones emerging, still wrapped in the greens that hadn’t quite let go. It was the perfect blend of seasons, like their day: warm, alive, and a little cozy.

We wrapped up portraits upstairs in the Stan Mansion’s second-floor lounge, surrounded by friends and family. The mood shifted from quiet to celebratory—exactly as it should.

The ceremony took place in the Stan Mansion’s historic grand ballroom—a space that carries all the charm and grandeur of another time. With its soaring ceilings and gilded details, it set the perfect stage for a moment that was sweet, simple, and deeply felt. There weren’t many dry eyes in the room, and even fewer hearts untouched. It was quiet magic—the kind that lingers long after the vows are said.

As the sun set, the grand ballroom transformed seamlessly into a celebration space filled with energy and heart. A live band set the tone for the evening, bringing the kind of rhythm that pulls everyone to their feet. Anastasia and Tyler opened the night with choreographed dancing that was equal parts charming and electric, just like them. The room was filled with laughter, movement, and the comforting presence of their favorite foods, shared among the people who mean the most. It was the perfect balance of elegance and ease, a reception that felt entirely their own.

The night wrapped just as beautifully as it began—with a few final portraits in the garden, now softly lit and still unusually warm for the season. It was quiet, just the two of them again, surrounded by the glow of string lights and the hum of the celebration still echoing inside. A perfect exhale to a day filled with laughter, emotion, and the kind of joy that stays with you long after the music fades.

Anastasia and Tyler’s wedding was a reminder that when you lead with meaning and celebrate with heart, the result is timeless.
