One of the most obsessed topic around scheduling a photoshoot is the location. Each person has something that they are looking for in the perfect spot. Pretty backdrop, greenery, flowers, texture or a connection to the place. Well, a week or so ago, a small photography group I am apart of suggested a challenge - Make pretty photos in an ugly spot. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!! I borrowed my neighbors girls and went to some ugly spots around the Historic Woodstock Square. Let me tell
Kristen and Travis are so cool. Really, they are. I met with Kristen back in January, we talked about the two of them and their wedding and she talked about how they moved here from Virginia and bought a house that they were doing work on. It is an older home, common for Woodstock, IL so there is a lot of love that goes into upkeep alone. So, even though we were waiting for nicer weather to do their engagement session - I suggested a chill in-home session with coffee and snug
Phew, what. A. Year.

He has taught me a great many things about how to successfully work through a wedding and keep everyone in check, the biggest lesson I have gotten from him was my confidence. I am grateful for the time I get to work with him and looking forward to many

I started in May with a Styled Shoot (which you will see next week) and this engagement shoot for Ashley & Rob, whose Wedding I will be photographing in December at the always fun Starline Factory. The wedding stuff has been fun and I am excited to share more of my journey as it unfolds. BUT FIRST: Ashley & Rob.... I have known Ashley for about 4 years. I have not known her without Rob. They met a
