Kristen + Travis's Woodstock Boho Wedding
August 25th, 2018 Kristen + Travis got married.
Kristen got ready at their home In Woodstock, Il surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. It was cozy and full of fun. Their home is one built of love, literally, They have been remodeling it together since they moved in. It has so much character that it made for the perfect spot for the girls to get ready and details to be captured.
Kristen found her dress online with an Australian company. It was a beautiful silk slip dress with the most gorgeous details. It was made for her and her flowers were put together by an uncle who came from Jersey with all his talent in tow. They were perfect.
Meanwhile, Travis and his guys were getting ready over at a hotel in Crystal Lake and caught a trolley ride over to the Ceremony. They did not have a first look - so we had to hide Kristen away.
The Ceremony was in the Gazebo in the Historic Woodstock Square, if you have never been there your missing out, because it has so much charm. Perfect for a wedding.
Post Ceremony we wandered the Square for Wedding Party Portraits and some some. We started at a little townie bar to get out of the heat, grab a few drinks, and use the courtyard for pictures.
Our small adventure included portraits in a parking lots with ivy covered walls, in front of our movie theater, and inside the Old Courthouse before the Trolley carried them off to the reception.
Their Reception was in Crystal Lake at the Old Town Hall. It was a perfect location for these two and their families. Kristen and Travis made sure that nature was brought in and their personalities were represented well. (Cake was made by Swiss Maid Bakery; Formally located in Woodstock IL)
Reception was all about family. Kristen and Travis are both from the East Coast so almost everyone in attendance traveled here to celebrate them. They spent time to talk with everyone. Kristen danced with her dad and then Travis Danced with his sister as mom could not be there, and it didn't leave a dry eye in the room.
The two of them ensured that the fun would go in to the night and broke out fun props for the guests to use. Kids and adults alike participated all in the same. We ended the night of photography with a few romantic night shots outside.
How cute are they??
