HI!!!

How are you doin'? I'm doing great. I just had a great cup of coffee and I am rockin' out to Foo Fighter, Just need a fall breeze and some chocolate and I would be in heaven.

This is where I am supposed to be all - me, me, me. Instead I'm just going to share some random things and pictures of my kid.

Enjoy.

Obviously I did not take these images of myself. That credit goes to my good friend Jennifer at Jennifer Ostler Photography.

This is my Olivia. She is my almost 6 year old now. (Like what?!?!) Olivia has introduced me to a special world full of special kids that fill my heart.

Olivia has Developmental Disabilities that has helped me learn so much about me, my relationship with my husband, Chad, and life. I get to see things in a different light with her around... yes every parent says that but really I learned how to see things differently. So much so, that it has changed the way I take photos.

My Olivia

If you follow me on insta or facebook you will see her pop up, she's just too funny sometimes. You will also see Otto the Orange Cat pop up, he is my office mate and shadow. Anyways, the answers to pressing questions you might have....

I discovered my addiction to photography while in college. I was at Columbia College Chicago studying Interior Architecture and needed a distraction from stress, enter photography. It started with a low end model Canon and the architecture that I loved so much and eventually evolved into street photography, then people, then my kid, then weddings, then not weddings, then families and now.... after much soul searching I found the happy medium of Weddings + Lifestyle Photography + I still love to do street photography when I can. I love what I do and find joy in capturing your joy. I married Chad on that freakishly warm St. Pats weekend in 2012 and a little over a year later Olivia came to us. We are that State Farm (? was it state farm?) commercial of how life progresses... aside from the car and second kid. I spent most of my life between my hometown, Addison, and Chicago but now reside in the far..far..far northwest suburb of Chicago - Woodstock. Its cute and quirky - you should totally visit. I like - no... LOVE my coffee, my 90's alternative/rock music, a good hike in the forest, fall, movies, eating out, and long walks on the beach...ok maybe not the beach but traveling to one is not out of the question.

I am an open book, for the most part, so if there is a question - just ask me. I love to meet up and talk over coffee... or wine.  Especially, If your interesting in Wedding Photography - I love to hear your love story.  So there you are, Info on me when all you probably wanted to know was is she a Wedding Photographer? Or a Family Photographer? or a Newborn Photographer? I am and I love it.
